One Day
Retreat
Dusting
Off Our Prayers
Does your prayer life need
to be re-energized or re-vitalized? Are you looking for
some new forms or ways to enter into relationship with
the Divine? Joyce Rupp will offer insights about the theory
and expression of prayer, as well as suggest creative
approaches for individual and communal ritual. Besides
describing creative ways to pray, she will lead the group
through some of her suggestions. Come prepared to enter
into experiences of prayer such as chant, body movement
and guided visualization. This evening is based on her
new resource book Out of
the Ordinary, a collection of poems, prayers,
and reflections.

Skin-Shedding
and Cave Dwelling (The Process of Spiritual
Transformation)
We are always
in the process of transformation. Like snakes shedding
their skins, we are continually being asked to shed another
layer of our security so that we can grow. Loss and good-byes
have a way of demanding skin-shedding of us. Like good
red wine, we also need some cave time so that our life
experiences, especially our struggles and discontent,
can age and mature in the wisdom of stillness and solitude.
Joyce Rupp invites participants to look at life with new,
hopeful eyes and to share a vision of spiritual energy
that revitalizes and offers healing and wholeness by pondering
the cycle of spiritual transformation.

Weekend
Retreat
Come
a Little Further, Come a Little Deeper
This
retreat is a time of deepening and strengthening one's
relationship with the Holy One. It is a creative venture,
an invitation to stretch and grow.
It is a time to become clearer about one's purpose in
life and to gain greater inner freedom to be one's true
self. It is a call to increased awareness of our compassionate
presence in the world. Each one's spiritual journey will
be tended with respect and acceptance. All persons are
welcome.
Silence
is a vital component of this retreat. The approach is
holistic and will include creative rituals, conferences
by Joyce Rupp, solitude, small group dialogue, song and
dance. Come with an open mind and heart and enter into
a beautiful opportunity for spiritual growth.
